Responsibilities Include But Aren’t Limited To:

  • Plan and manage in-house special events that match our brand and audience

  • Coordinate with external clients to organize private events

  • Regularly review all current events to determine their ROI and renewal relevancy

  • Research & book bands, negotiate terms, and draft contracts for our live music series

  • Field incoming event requests and manage them in accordance to our existing events calendar

  • Research and interact with approved non-profit and community groups to develop meaningful and impactful community partnerships

  • Register and coordinate staffing & logistics for local festivals

  • Manage external contractors for weekly events

  • Create content and upload all events to online publishers

  • Manage the Music & Events section of the Black Shirt website as well as our internal calendar, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date

  • Create and maintain all internal event tracking, calendars, and logistics for proper in-house team communication

  • Work with the design, public relations, and communications team to help with marketing efforts

  • Represent Black Shirt Brewing in all Drink RiNo Organization meetings & events

  • Follow up with event staff/management/guests to ensure expectations were exceeded


  • 2-5 years of client-facing event coordination experience

  • 2-5 years of previous experience in the music industry

  • Creative & a self starter. Must be innovative with planning public events

  • Outgoing and high energy; enjoys high volume of public interaction; positive attitude and strong verbal communication skills

  • Extensive attention to detail

  • Prior knowledge of social media marketing platforms is a plus - Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pages Manager, Ads Manager, FB Live, Google +, etc

  • Prior use with G Suite, Slack, & HelloSign a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Drive a must

  • Awareness of trends in festivals (i.e. music, beer, food, art)

  • Demonstrated negotiation experience and skills

  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, & holidays
