Position Summary

The Sales Coordinator will drive and support sales promotion, customer service, and information flow for current and new accounts. Among many other activities, the Sales Coordinator will help prepare sales presentations, set-up and launch new customers, coordinate with broker partners, expand our base of independent retailer partnerships, manage growth programs and promotions, evaluate sales performance to identify opportunities, and lead specific consumer/social media outreach initiatives.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate current customer info flow, analysis, support
  • Support new product launch execution
  • Set up new customers by creating/maintaining necessary documents
  • Maintain customer records by regularly updating account information; manage customer portals
  • Prepare and evaluate customer specific product and service performance reports
  • Support monthly sales result management reviews
  • Assess the evolving competitive landscape for price, promotion and positioning benchmarks
  • Manage and improve our sample shipment process
  • Plan and oversee the execution of our product demonstration events
  • Expand our base of independent retail customers through direct selling and channel partners
  • Reconcile and approve spending for all relevant expenses
  • Provide research and analytical support for sales meetings and business reviews
  • Work the customer service team to monitor customer orders, logistics and on-time delivery
  • Support ideation and delivery of social media and event marketing campaigns
  • Propose retailer specific marketing trial and repeat purchase growth strategies
  • Participate in industry trade shows and networking events
  • Special projects, as required

Skills and Experiences

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced capabilities in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Comfortable building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Familiar with the many components and nuances of the food retail landscape
