ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Distiller in day-to-day operation of the distillery, which includes:

? Driving a forklift, canning line, packaging

? Monitor recipes, ingredients, filtrations, and final blends

? Upkeep and maintain equipment/company property

? Keep facility and workspace clean

? Assist in the analysis of process and equipment efficiencies

? Oversee the transport of product with distribution

? Manage canning runs and all equipment involved

? Collaborate with distillers to make sure necessary products are available

? Understanding of products, both distilled, canned and bottled

? Peripheral vision/motivation (staying busy).

? Responsible for opening and closing the facility.

? Scheduling production assistants for making canned cocktails

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 2 years experience in Brewery/Distillery Direct experience with canning line, machinery, and maintenance is required. Including carbonation, sanitation, and packaging as well. Applicant must be dependable, earnest, open to learning new tasks as assigned, hardworking, flexible, professional, exercise good communication, and comfortable working in a periodic but physically demanding labor position. Applicant must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs., and have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Position requires High School diploma. Applicant must have good people skills and a good sense of humor is a must.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience in fermentation, yeast propagation, distillation, and/or chemical analysis a plus, packaging and canning line experience is a must with and eye for details. Applicant and Maine Craft Distilling, LLC will undergo a 3 month review period to evaluate the job, the applicant’s fit and mutual relationship to ensure successful long term employment.
