Don Chelada is seeking a motivated professional in the San Antonio area as a Retail Sales Merchandiser.
As a Retail Sales Merchandiser for MICHELADA, you travel your region and are responsible for:
Providing high-quality merchandising support for products,
Train & motivate retail sales associates and other relevant retail personnel in an effort to increase MICHELADA awareness and the sales of MICHELADA products at our channel partners such as many mass and specialty retailers in numerous verticals within the region.
Maintain contact, communication, and relationships with retailers and Sales Supervisor.
Execute sales strategies to help obtain distribution and volume goals and programs
Ensure proper merchandising of accounts with placement, displays, signage and permanent point of sale.
Monitor product dates in trade, ensure all product is rotated and fresh.
Assist Don Chelada sales team on selling products to retail and identifying opportunities in the market.
Champion visibility of Michelada brands at retail level.
Participate in sales meetings and market visits
This position is best fit for a road warrior and will travel 90% of the time -or more- within their designated territory and wherever approved tradeshows may be.
Skills and Experience
Previous merchandising or sales in beer or beverage industry. Distributor experiences a big plus.
Attention to detail is a must.
Above average ability to problem solve.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Confident and willing to question conventional wisdom.
Enjoy a very fast paced environment and adapt to change.
Strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
Social media savvy.
Valid and clean driver license.
Willingness to work unconventional hours.
Proven ability to use data and analytics to develop insights.
Ability to assume responsibly.

Applicant will use their own vehicle and be reimbursed for travel expenses.
