We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to help support the day to day initiatives of the marketing vision with an emphasis on brand development and shopper marketing.  A day in the life will include consistent interactions with our sales channel leads to collaborate on brand programming to drive trial and awareness, setting our brand tone/voice and constantly pushing the creative boundaries on social, and developing marketing initiatives to support innovation.  We are a brand that thrives on data driven decision making.  The ideal candidate will leverage creativity driven by unique and powerful insights, centered around a clear strategy.

Brand Development

  • Own the brand voice/tone.  Leverage insights to develop a unique positioning that comes to life through all owned content
  • Setup a strategic framework for social content. Lead designers and social media coordinator to activate strategy
  • Refresh ad creative to wash/rinse/repeat paid social and programmatic display
  • Develop brand book and guidelines.  Ensure all owned assets are in-line with brand guidelines

Sales Support

  • Developing annual shopper activation strategy that will integrate all customer specific plans from digital media to shelf
  • You will support OWYN selling objectives by establishing relationships with all sales channel leads. It will be your responsibility to understand all customer/distributor needs and develop action plans to develop, execute, and deliver against needs in a timely way
  • You will be responsible for developing customer specific marketing presentations for the sales organization and attend customer meetings as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory of brand asset catalog for the sales team.  When needed, ensure promotional clings, displays, etc. are developed and sent on time
  • Travel will be required.  Visiting customers, distributors, and performing route rides and market blitzes will be essential to understanding marketing needs

Social/Digital Strategy

  • Build branded content strategy to live on owned and paid channels
  • Work with Social Media Coordinator to implement brand content strategy – measure results and pivot when needed
  • Integrate audience data learnings to evolve targeting strategy
  • Own the marketing mix and proactively manage dollar mix between programmatic display, paid social, and paid search

Marketing Capabilities

  • Identify and monitor performance metrics that not only drive ROI and KPIs across all marketing channels, but also meet budget goals and track efficiency of spend
  • Train, mentor, and develop team of marketers including Field Marketing, Customer Experience, Social Media Coordinate, Brand Partnerships, and Design/Photography
  • Develop reporting suite using syndicated data and customer specific data portals, as needed.  Uncover actionable insights leveraging this data


  • Classic CPG foundation with entrepreneurial experience more recently
  • 3-5 years of brand marketing experience
