In 2011, two amateur beer brewing college students noticed that they had heaps of nutritious and tasty grain left over from their hobby. They soon started ReGrained to help the food system do more with less; to reduce waste, nourish people, and positively impact the planet.  

The Certified B Corporation is a branded ingredient platform with ready-to-eat CPG products powered by a patent-pending process. The first ReGrained product to hit the market is a line of flavor-forward and functional SuperGrain+ snack bars, wrapped in backyard compostable packaging. The founders were humbled to be named Forbes 30 Under 30, and are emerging thought leaders mobilizing the “Edible Upcycling” movement.

The ReGrained Sales Manager will build collaborative relationships throughout the stakeholder ecosystem, make sales and drive brand excitement and awareness. They will have direct sales quotas and performance objectives. In addition to direct sales, the Sales Manager work with our distribution and brokerage partners to generate sales volume by adding accounts across channels including: Specialty, Natural, Grocery, Convenience, Sporting, Food Service/Corporate, Drug, Mass and others.

DUTIES*:

-Communicate company mission and stoke the world on ReGrained

-Aggressively pursue, close and activate sales opportunities in all classes of trade.

-Be responsible for ReGrained’s revenue growth according to monthly, quarterly, and annual plan

-Develop and maintain effective customer, distributor, broker, and other stakeholder relationships

-Build, execute, and track against account specific customer success plans, including but not limited to demo programs, promotional calendars, and merchandising

-Be ears on the ground for localized event and community marketing opportunities

-Accurately and consistently forecast short and long-term sales metrics

-Align and collaborate with marketing to increase brand awareness and drive same store sales

-Work with management to recruit, select, and direct sales staff in meeting or exceeding corporate sales goals

-Proactively attune to product review calendars and complete onboarding paperwork

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Preferred 5+ years of direct sales experience with track record of success, preferably in the food and beverage industry

-Passion for ReGrained’s mission, vision, and values

-Self-starter with entrepreneurial hustle committed to high standards of excellence

-Outgoing personality with strong written and verbal communication skills

-Time-management and organizational skills—ability to prioritize competing tasks

-Problem-prevention and problem-solving skills

-Plays well with others in a dynamic, fun, fast-paced environment

-Must be able to work with spreadsheets and write effective sales proposals

-Understand negotiating tactics and variations within channels

-Appetite for learning and desire to continue sales and industry training

-Stakeholder oriented leader

-Conscious human

COMPENSATION:

-Base salary ranges depending on experience + eligibility for commissions/bonus if sales goals/strategic objectives are met

-Equity compensation available

-Paid vacation, Company holidays
