Honey Grail creates historically-inspired, honey-sweetened adult beverages. This includes a sparkling honey mead; a citrus Chardonnay honey mimosa; and a honey rum cider grog. Can we say yum?!

We have a target list of independent wine and liquor stores in which we need our products placed. We're looking for experienced sales reps (i.e., those that have sold alcoholic beverages to stores and restaurants before in these markets and possess relationships with their managers/owners)

This is a contract role. We pay per placement and per case. 

The ideal candidate is someone that's independent and currently or wishes to represent multiple suppliers.


Job Responsibilities

  • Visit new and existing retail/restaurant accounts to get them to order or re-order product
  • Schedule and perform in-store tastings/demos
  • Represent the company and expand sales for Honey Grail in both on & off premise accounts in designated sales territory.
  • Build relationships with owners/buyers at all on premise and off-premise accounts.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between accounts and distributors to ensure products are being ordered and delivered appropriately, and that a healthy relationship is maintained between all accounts and distributors.
  • Strategically target key accounts with distributors to increase product placement, movement, and promotional opportunities.
  • Schedule and attend promotional events, such as samplings, pint nights, beer pairing dinners, beer fests, etc.
  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Ability to have fun.
    • 2+ years demonstrated beverage sales experience, preferably in beer, wines or spirits
    • Knowledge of and/or professional relationship with management/owners of local retailers, bars, and liquor stores
    • Be self-directed with minimal oversight
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
    • Live in the territory of assigned distributors.
    • Ability and willingness to work evenings.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Be organized, self-disciplined, detail oriented & sociable.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Good negotiation skills.
    • Possess and exhibit high levels of energy & self-motivation.

    This is a contract role. Our target list includes between 2 to 12 independent stores per metro area. Please provide your compensation requirement to engage these targeted stores. If you successfully place the product in these stores, we can discuss more long-term roles.
