Wölffer Estate Vineyard, a dynamic, sustainable vineyard in the Hamptons, New York and Mendoza, Argentina, seeks an enthusiastic, seasoned National Chain Manager to grow sales and brand recognition of Wölffer 139 Ciders and Wölffer wine across domestic and international grocery and retail chains, through the execution of Wolffer Estate’s annual sales and marketing programs. . This full-time position reports into our National Sales Director, is based in the tri-state NY area and is expected to travel regularly to accounts and periodically to the Estate in the Hamptons.

Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage relationships with multi-unit, regional and franchise chain accounts, including Large Format Grocery, Mass Merchandiser, and Convenience Store customers
- Develop and manage relationships with distributors as relates to chains 
- Collaborate with National Sales Director and Marketing Director to create and execute chain specific sales and marketing initiatives 
- Identify and penetrate new chain-based opportunities 
- Develop chain sales and depletion forecasts, set objectives, and monitor performance
- Monitor wine/cider deliveries to chains from distributors to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain awareness of liquor regulation and import-export laws 
- Performs additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by management
- Work closely with Wolffer sales team, marketing, winemaking, and management to execute programs

Job requirements are: 
- 10 years of experience in the beverage/beer/wine/spirits industry with notable experience working with chains
- Numbers oriented
- Personable, driven
- Deep knowledge of wine/cider and the beverage industry
- Established relationships in the chain market
- Travel as the job demands
