This is an opportunity to join the executive team of a small, fast paced company. This person must thrive in a very fast paced and growing environment. The responsibility of the position is to provide team leadership in selling, distribution, trade-marketing services and thought leadership. This candidate needs very strong leadership, analytical and critical-thinking skills to develop winning propositions for DRINKmaple and help the brand increase sales and market share year over year. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop and execute sales strategy across all channels and regions to deliver on sales goals

• Increase distribution and penetration of DRINKmaple produces in retail accounts

• Develop and build strong relationships with key retail buyers, distributors and brokers

• Recruit, motivate and manage high-performing field and sales rep team

• Build and execute on account-specific sales strategies based on an understanding of the customer’s needs and their perspective on our category

• Use data to build compelling selling stories

• Allocate and manage trade spend for key channels and accounts in the most efficient manner possible. Partner with CEO to align on trade spend budget as it relates to company goals

• Manage the company’s sales forecast by customer and SKU

• Key contributor to the Sales & Operations planning process on a monthly basis

• Analyze the market on an ongoing basis to refine product, pricing and business strategy

 • Represent the brand and lead activities at industry tradeshows and tabletop shows

 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years experience managing sales for a fast-growing brand in the natural foods industry, ideally in beverage

 • Experience managing a sales organization in the beverage industry

• Experience in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments

• Demonstrated ability to bring in high-value new accounts and customers

• Superior communication skills

• Passionate about health and wellness
