Summary of Responsibilities:

Leadership:

Lead, coach & mentor Sales team.

Plan and direct staffing, training and performance evaluations.

Assists staff in developing short and long term goals and objectives to achieve desired sales objectives for the company.  

Represents the Company at trade association meetings to promote products.

Operations & Finance

Responsible for Sales Dept P & L.

Recommends or approves budget, expenditures, and appropriations for on-premise promotions, special events, and charitable contribution, venue and media activities.

Provide data for key performance indicators to sales team and upper management.

Analyzes sales statistics to formulate incentive programs to assist suppliers in promoting sales.

Analyzes and controls expenditures of the sales department to conform budgetary requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or 10+ years of progressive management experience.

Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.

Creative presentation/public speaking and premium selling skills are a must.

Minimum 3 -5 years wholesaler experience.

Proficient in MS Office products especially Excel and Powerpoint.
