MA/RI Brand Rep - Banded Brewing/Embark Cider

We are seeking a highly motivated craft beer/cider enthusiast to join our team as a shared representative for two brands, Banded Brewing Company and Embark Craft Ciderworks. You will work alongside our Founders at Craft Collective as well as the Banded Brewing and Embark Cider teams to continue to build their growing portfolios.
Responsibilities include establishing relationships with on-premise and off-premise retail accounts, soliciting orders from retail accounts, scheduling and execution promotional events, attending beer industry events and festivals to represent Banded Brewing and Embark Cider, ensuring proper stock rotation at our retail accounts, and handling customer service inquiries from retail accounts.
The territory is Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:
Develop new account relationships. Demonstrate knowledge of both Banded Brewing and Embark Cider to buyers and employees of retail accounts we serve. Successfully sell and ensure placement of these products. Respect the beer and cider — treat all product you handle as if it were what you would be drinking. Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Handle customer inquiries. Organize and execute floor displays when necessary. Follow Craft Collective’s Code of Conduct and uphold the values of both Banded Brewing and Embark Cider.
This position is based on a 6 month contract with potential to move into a permanent role at the conclusion of the 6 month period. During that 6 month period the work schedule is full-time, generally 9-5PM M-F, with work necessary on some nights and weekends. Craft beer/cider sales can be a round-the-clock job.
College Degree. Craft beer industry sales experience in this market STRONGLY preferred but not necessary. Must be highly motivated. Access to a vehicle that you are willing to use for business purposes. Must live in Greater Boston as this area will be the main focus. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs consisting of cases and kegs. Dexterity needed to bend, stand, lift, and twist repeatedly.
