Apply for this Job

BevNET, a news team and media company covering entrepreneurial companies and the issues affecting them in the packaged food, beverage, and beer industries, is seeking an editorial intern for Fall 2018.

Intern will assist editors and reporters in aspects of daily publication on BevNET, NOSH and Brewbound verticals. This is a great opportunity for aspiring journalists who want to learn to report on a rapidly growing and changing area of the economy, or who are curious about the business dynamics of food and beverage production and sales.

Interns will be expected to work between 12-20 hours per week for 4-6 months, on an either a paid or for-credit basis.

A successful intern will leave with published clips, a strong knowledge of the news cycle for a thriving journalistic operation, an improved grasp of online publishing tools, an understanding of many of the aspects contributing the success of consumer brands, and exposure to some of the top companies, leaders and investors in their respective industries.

Note: this is a trade publication, not a consumer web site -- while there’s a lot of free food and drink in the office, it’s not an opportunity to write about your last meal or why bacon is awesome.
