National Sales Director

We’re seeking a Director of Sales to lead our sales team as we grow our brand by managing distributor and brokerage relationships, opening and maintaining accounts in grocery and specialty food retailers, and representing Goldthread at trade shows and other forward facing events.
Meet sales team quarterly and yearly growth goals
Expand Goldthread's presence in traditional grocery retailers
Ensure that other members of the sales team have the support and guidance to meet their goals
Develop and manage high volume and priority accounts
Maintain relationships with Goldthread's independent retailer, distributor and brokerage network, including Supplier Relationship Managers, Buyers, Account Managers, Sales Representatives and Brokers
Develop and deliver on trade plans and promotional strategies
Set and manage the wholesale team and trade show budget
Manage relationships with priority direct and co-branded accounts
Plan and manage Goldthread's exhibits at major trade shows per year and assorted tabletop events - this will necessitate out of town travel and work during occasional weekends
Pursue new business and make presentations to key potential retailers
Ensure that the entire sales team is maintaining and growing business through excellent customer service, relationship management, merchandising monitoring and quality outreach
