The Vice President is a dynamic role, made for a natural-born leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, is innovative, solutions-oriented and analytical.  This person will assess, question, and improve all aspects of PR business operations, including but not limited to, management and training, management of internal process and procedures, provide insight on client strategy, manage client retention and agency reputation. Reporting directly to the President, this position will play an instrumental role in the continued success of the agency, both internally and externally and will work closely with agency’s leadership team to enhance the results generated for the agency’s clients. Process Management

    • Evaluates agency service offerings to ensure we are providing the most value to our clients
    • Contributes to the agency’s internal processes and procedures to streamline and maximize efficiency
    • Ensures all processes and procedures are followed by all and leads by example
    • Vets various tools and software to increase efficiency and maximize results
    • Creates system for and leads Manager training

Reputation Management

    • Designs creative strategy and thorough plans surrounding client retention efforts
    • Gathers testimonials to include in agency marketing materials
    • Maintains a positive reputation for the agency by attending community and industry events, participating in relevant panel discussions, and submitting the agency and it’s staff for relevant industry awards

Agency Leadership

    • Owns and manages staffing on all accounts
    • Responsible for account team manager assignments to ensure all account staff are receiving mentorship at every level
    • Mentors the most senior account staff
    • Conducts all account staff performance reviews and approves and tracks individual goals

Other Skills

    • Possesses an advanced knowledge of consumer packaged goods in the health/wellness and beauty industries
    • Has  proven success in high-level management including but not limited to reviewing client budgets, strategy, and KPI’s, providing guidance and mentorship to staff
    • The embodiment of a hustler, leading from a high-level but willing to get into the trenches to execute if needed
    • Leads with a compassionate, kind, patient management style
    • Loves to teach and can effectively motivate teams
    • Can work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and actively promote and engage team members with  clear and effective communication
    • Can identify problems, draw valid conclusions, make decisions and take action
    • Has a combination of analytical, strategic and creative thinking
    • Basic knowledge of Apple products, Microsoft office, Google suite, and Cision

Desired Experience

    • 10-12 years professional public relations agency experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study, i.e. Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Studies
    • Prior experience leading strategy on CPG accounts

Working Conditions:

May require evening and weekend work, as needed may require travel for work

Physical Requirements:

May require extended periods of sitting, working in front of a computer
