The Craft Spirits Sales Representative will deliver sales results through distribution, menu placements, and by building advocacy with key on- and off-premise accounts. This is a role for an experienced craft spirits sales person who is looking to make a difference in an entrepreneurial spirits company. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of on-premise sales experience in the spirits and/or wine industry. Some bartending/mixology experience is preferred. The successful applicant will be a person who understands brand integrity and makes smart decisions when choosing the “right” accounts to target. An entrepreneurial spirit is a must.  This position is based in the Los Angeles Metro area and will call on accounts in Los Angeles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Achieve volume, distribution, menu, and activation goals within assigned territory 
  • Execute brand activation at key events such as consumer tastings, staff seminars, charity events, and distributor functions
  • Ensure that accounts are targeted based on brand alignment
  • Deliver insightful and engaging sales presentations 
  • Create, manage and stay within budgets
  • Develop impactful cocktail programs with on-premise buyers that are both creative and profitable 
  • Build relationships with buyers, owners, bartenders, and distributor sales personnel 
  • Contribute to social media and amplification of brand message 
  • Follow and understand consumer and trade trends 

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ experience in spirits and/or wine industry 
  • Sales driven with an entrepreneurial spirit 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or commensurate experience 
  • Must be at a minimum of 21 years old 
  • Must be responsible, outgoing and reliable 
  • Must have valid US driver’s license 
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds 
  • Aligns with brand values with a positive attitude while being a team player 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products 

KPI’s: 

  • Calls on 30-40 accounts per week 
  • Execute 30+ consumer/trade activations per month 
  • 1-4 Distributor sales work-withs per month 
  • Secure 10+ new menus or off-premise displays per month 
  • Deliver weekly KPI updates and communicates success stories 
  • Time Allocation: 100% Selling & Activation in field
