Owyn MAVERICK-

The MAVERICK reports to the Head of Sales Strategy and is on a hyper focused sales journey.  Mavericks are best in class sales reps/merchandisers that have optimized and unique territory route structures that encompass accounts in several channels of trade (including but not limited to convenience/natural/independent)  MAVERICKS are what we like to call the "privileged" sales rep, as they are on a weekly organized and structured route schedule, unlike most of their peers.  MAVERICKS create, service, and leverage new and consistent account relationships to maximize sales and market share

Position Shift and Schedule-

This is a full time Monday through Friday position

Position Location-

This position will have a target account territory in one of the following 3 locations:  Mid-Atlantic, North-Atlantic, or NY Metro (We are currently seeking applicants for all 3 regions)

Position Responsibilities-

  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and consumer relationships
  • Enhance the brand positioning and availability of OWYN in the designated territory assigned
  • Merchandise and execute against 35 stores in your personal route driving brand volume
  • Educate store management on the differentiation of OWYN and build relationships with local distribution system to create a team based culture all the way from brand to distributor to store to consumer
  • Build out pop up customer demo experiences when possible in key accounts and venues
  • Create full distribution for all OWYN authorized items in key accounts
  • Analyze weekly generated reports to track personal performance and meet territory goals

Skills-

  • Merchandising experience in either the beverage or food industry
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in extremely fast paced environments
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Ability to execute against account strategies
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • General proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Owning an iPad is preferred but not necessary as if you are an exceptional candidate, one will be provided to you
