Ambros Banana Whiskey is looking for motivated individuals ready to take advantage of an opportunity to join our rapid growth. Ambros is in a unique position to grow at a historically quick rate and sales representatives who are able to meet these growth expectations are needed. With direction the Account Manager will be responsible for leading On-Premise and Off-Premise new account acquisition, activations and events within the greater San Diego region while achieving strict volume and distribution goals. Beverage Industry sales experience in the greater San Diego region is a requirement.

Ambros Banana Whiskey has re-defined the category of flavored spirits. Using only 100% real bananas in the fruit infusion process, Ambros Banana Whiskey has no artificial flavors or preservatives, no ‘natural’ flavors, no fruit juice concentrate and no added sugars or syrups. With support from some of the largest premier hospitality groups in the United States, Ambros is poised for significant growth in major markets across the country.  

Position Description and Responsibilities

  • Engage new on-premise accounts through multiple sales channels  
  • Cultivate and support off-premise accounts  
  • Create activation and incentive programs throughout on-premise & off-premise accounts
  • Provide brand education
  • Involvement in event creation, execution and follow-up
  • Work with marketing and creative team to roll out customized local sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with accounts to ensure premier cocktail menu and bar placement
  • Basic knowledge of social media strategies 
  • This position is salary based with bonus

Position Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of beverage sales experience in the greater San Diego market
  • Self-Motivated and can work well individually in the field and with a team
  • Existing relationships with on-premise & off-premise accounts that can immediately be utilized
  • Must be ready to grow with an expanding company
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and provide timely results
  • Must be willing to travel locally and regionally
  • Must represent the company values at all times
  • Proven track record within the San Diego market
