We are looking for an experienced individual with exceptional customer service skills and sales experience. Our ideal candidate will live in the San Diego area and have proven experience in both fields within the foodservice industry. 

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of customer service support when handling customer  questions and comments
  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries received via phone or email in a respectful, accurate, timely manner and exceed expectations in the workplace
  • Maintain existing relations with all customers
  • Pursue new business as the role develops
  • Educate customers on health benefits of product, different uses of product and company social mission
  • Experience with CRM systems; preferably BASE
  • Prepare and submit weekly updates to team
  • Travel when needed to support team at trade shows and events
  • Perform other duties including: packing and shipping, review and analyzing reports, inputting data and handling routine phone calls with customers
  • Assist other team members with related tasks

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years customer service experience
  • 1+ years foodservice related sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize in a multi-tasted environment
  • Takes initiative, is self-motivated and has an outgoing personality
  • Possess a cooperative and positive attitude towards customers and team members
