We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Area Sales Manager who thrives in a high paced hustle environment with beverage and field sales experience to be based in the Boston market. The Area Sales Manager will be the primary lead working with our distribution partners to generate sales volume through existing accounts and opening new accounts. This individual will be responsible for in store execution to build sales velocity and increase consumer brand exposure.
Job responsibilities include:
Having an entrepreneur mentality and hustling to build a business in the fast paced, winning culture of both our company and our distributors and retail partners.
Work with our distributors to execute annual business plan delivering key metrics (volume plans, distribution & authorization goals, shelf/display merchandising look of success)
In-store execution to build velocity and gain secondary placements in existing accounts.
Open up new accounts in the territory.
Education, Experience & Key Traits
3+ years of relevant experience in food or beverage sales.
Track record of success in building/executing sales plans.
Exceptional verbal communication skills.
Strong at following up with accounts and leads.
Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills to enable solid business relationships.
Ability to be creative and think outside the box to get things done.
