House Brewing, Inc (House) in Venice, CA is looking for a Los Angeles County Area Sales Manager to help their Sales and Marketing Team. We are looking for a personable, independent, organized individual with a passion for beer. Our LA County Sales Representative will develop the market through prospecting business, opening new accounts, sampling at retail, tastings, on-premise promotions and events. The Los Angeles County ASM will act as the face of the brand. The role will work non-traditional hours.

Job Description:

Develop, coordinate, and implement the execution of brand strategic objectives and execute go to market action plans in assigned markets.

Flexible hours to execute evening and weekend promotions to support sell through, increase consumer awareness, strengthen distributor and retailer relationships.

Perform all necessary administrative duties and relevant to position (i.e., tracking reports, promotional recaps, expense reports, etc.)

Build rapport and interaction with retailer and wholesaler customers.

Implementation of creative programs to activate the consumer, including product samples, special offers, IRCs, MIRs, etc.

Execute special events, festivals, and marketing programs to enhance the image and reputation of the brand in the market place; including monthly promotions/hand selling in off and On-premise accounts to promote trial and create exposure for brand

Actively develop and manage relationships with wholesaler personnel including Executive Leadership, Sales Managers, Operations Management, and Sales Reps.

Ensure POS and other marketing assets are utilized in the field with correct programs.

Maintain required call frequency on assigned market(s) key On and & Off-premise accounts to include product placement, developing and planning promotional activities, and placing point-of-sale, etc. Participate in the development of program-specific POS.

Job requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age

College degree or equivalent job experience

Highly motivated with the ability to set priorities and manage/coordinate multiple projects

Prior Beverage experience with a three tier distribution network preferred

Strong command presence, good oral and written communications skills

Work with minimal supervision

Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Project a quality product and company image

Excellent time management and leadership skills.

Ability to work under pressure to achieve sales targets.

Average weeks should include promotions, beer tastings, and House Beer events.

Qualifications:

2-3 years as a rising star in some type of sales, management or customer relations job. Must have high aptitude for learning, be a self-starter, be a great people connector and must love, love, love good beer. Experience or understanding of distributor workings and key account contacts are always a plus. Requires basic computer competence in Word, Excel, Outlook, VIP, and Concur. Must be eager to learn, to grow.
