We are looking for a passionate, driven, and hungry to learn inside salesperson! The Nutrition Sales Executive will be part of a winning sales team and will be responsible for supporting sales to create value for our customers and Fonterra. Success in this role will require the capability to build relationships with key stakeholders and effectively support & collaborate with Ingredients & Sports Nutrition sales teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify sales opportunities to meet planned and future demand targets. Ensure an accurate demand picture of the market in Fonterra business systems.

  • Manage sales and relationships with customers in accordance with agreed metrics.

  • Develop Technical Service solutions with customers in line with agreed customer initiatives.

  • Own the contracting process and support sales in price negotiations.

  • Tenaciously work through complicated customer issues to achieve resolution.

  • Adopt the “Fonterra Way of selling” sales methodology in every transaction!

     

What we are looking for:  

  • 1 - 2 years of demonstrated success in selling in customer-focused environment. Preferably in dairy, sports nutrition, vitamins, lifestyle & nutrition, health & wellness, sport performance industries or related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong customer partnerships.

  • Understanding of dairy food products, proteins and their applications would be an advantage in this role.

  • Top notch written and oral communication skills are a must.

  • Must have proficiency in using technology and MS Office applications.

  • Be able to champion the “Fonterra Way”, doing things to enhance our ability in achieving our vision & strategy. Values such as “co-operative spirit”, “do what’s right”, “challenge boundaries,” “make it happen” provide basis of our decision-making and define how we prioritize our actions and behaviors.

  • Must have a Bachelor’s; preferably in Sports & Nutrition or Health & Wellness disciples or related fields.
