LION Tea, a rapidly growing health focused beverage company, is seeking a passionate, energetic, entrepreneurial Area Sales Manager  to join our team in the Los Angeles region. LION Tea is the first ever to bring ready-to-drink organic dandelion tea to the market.

We are seeking a high-performing Area Sales Manager based in the Los Angeles County who has a desire to join a team that is committed to growing LION into a nationally recognized brand.


The Area Sales Manager will visit key accounts in the LA area and work with local distributors and distributor sales reps to achieve sales objectives. The position requires a self-motivated, organized and creative person with sales experience and leadership qualities. A passion for plant based and healthy nutrition is a major plus as this is the main proposition of our brand.


LION is looking for someone who can learn and grow with our company as we expand.



MUST RESIDE IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA!


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the sales of our brand to retailers in coordination with local distributors and brokers

  • Call on key accounts on an ongoing basis to review in-store priorities

  • Support key accounts w/ demos when needed

  • Gain new points of distribution

  • Work with key accounts for effective merchandising and to gain best shelf management positions

  • Develop and maintain an organized list of key accounts in your territory

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven creative presentation and premium selling skills are a MUST

  • Proven success in sales call strategies

  • 1-2 years of CPG Sales or Marketing experience preferred

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)

  • Professional demeanor in working with co-workers, distributors, retail reps and consumers

  • Innovative in approaching accounts and expanding business!

  • Ability to formulate account strategies and execute against them

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle to travel and transport promotional merchandise between accounts within assigned territory

  • Skills to use basic features in Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, Slides) very similar to Microsoft Office suite (training available)
