Global Sales Account Representative 

Grovara connects US manufacturers of natural, organic, and specialty food with international distributors and retailers. We are seeking a bilingual English and Spanish language candidate. As a Global Sales Representative, you will be part of a fast-growing Philadelphia-based company that helps worthy businesses go global. Specifically, this person will be responsible for not only creating and managing their sales pipeline, but taking ownership in driving sales related projects, and owning goals and reporting on particular categories or country. The Global Sales Account Rep will directly interface with high level contacts of prospective clients to facilitate all stages of a sale.

The Global Sales Account Rep is responsible for initiating and developing sustainable relationships with Global retailers and distributors. The successful candidate will represent Grovara’s US Natural and Organic Brands to International buyers. They will be responsible for qualifying leads, winning sales, promoting customer loyalty, and have a decisive impact on sales goals.

As a Global Sales Account Rep in a young and growing team, your role will encompass all aspects of sales including lead generation & nurturing, account management, price management, documentations, domestic & international trade shows, research & trainings, and customer service.

On a day to day basis, you will:

  • Initiate prospecting and lead generation activities including qualification
  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined region, while meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue targets
  • Drive and grow Grovara’s market position and maximize sales and business development in all accounts within a region
  • Responsible for growing and developing business in existing accounts by uncovering and developing new opportunities and sustaining and growing recurring product sales
  • Support Supply Chain with customer communication regarding registration and importation requirements of products
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and Key Performance Indicators including: monthly sales goals, monthly qualified leads, conversion rates of opportunities to closed sales
  • Responsible for creating and managing sales pipeline, taking ownership in driving sales, and owning goals and reporting on particular categories and country
  • Work with Sales Development Representative (SDR) on identifying ideal prospects, following up on Qualified Opportunities and managing the opportunity cycle
  • Work with Head of Sales to create and manage territory sales plan and targets, sales KPIs and territory forecasting
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate data on all opportunities, accounts, contacts, leads including recording all relevant sales correspondence and tasks in Salesforce CRM and other applications
  • Assist with customer payments and accounts receivables from the customer base within the territory
  • Provide appropriate, consistent, and timely communication with customers, Sales Support and manufacturers to ensure accurate proposals, order fulfillment, and issue resolution
  • Work with management, other team members, sales team, brands and outside vendors as needed to achieve objectives
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of Grovara’s brands, services, the Health & Wellness sector, and international sales process
  • Educate and network with prospects and accounts by providing insights, category trends and data, and Brand marketing content
  • Continuously learn about and receive training on Grovara’s rapidly growing Brands, the Health & Wellness segment, sales, and customer happiness

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with B2B Sales or international sales
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience with food and beverage products or health and wellness category products preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong ability to work cooperatively on a team with other sales representatives
  • Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals
  • International minded and multi-cultural oriented
  • Fluency in English and Spanish

Computer/Software Proficiency:

Job Location:

  • Philadelphia, PA
  • Infrequent travel to U.S. location trade shows will be required
