Summary:

Estrella Jalisco is a great tasting, flavorful, smooth beer born in Jalisco, Mexico in 1910. Estrella’s authentic cultural roots and it’s less bitter, clean finish make it the perfect beer for pairing with food, friends and of course – tequila. We’ve only been available in the U.S. for the past three years. That’s why we need someone like you, with the Dallas scoop, to help us share the story of what it means to be a modern Mexican beer.

Reporting to the On-Premise Director, this position is responsible for overseeing on-premise growth of the Estrella Jalisco brand within their territory by engaging with bartenders, wait staff and consumers. A successful candidate has:

  • An influencer mentality with a bold, disruptive and infectious spirit
  • Established credibility and influence within the local market
  • Subject matter expertise with enthusiasm to help grow the brand
  • Ability to set and communicate clear, aligned goals and monitor progress
  • Fluency in Spanish and English

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, bartenders and wholesaler to build rapport and gain additional influence and credibility in the marketplace
  • Develop and implement programs that build strong brand recognition and presence in the minds of consumers
  • Promote brand to an influential customer base, drive brand activations and execute memorable events
  • Manage trade spend and POCM budget efficiently
  • Gain incremental features and glassware distribution
  • Execute POCM and brand specific activations
  • Communicate and monitor results with wholesaler and Estrella Jalisco Corporate team
  • Represent the company and its products to customers in a positive manner
  • Maintain a positive working partnership with local wholesaler
  • Monitor event execution while ensuring all key brand KPIs are achieved
  • Monitor competitive activity / opportunities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

     

    Experience Requirements:

    • Must reside in Dallas
    • Reliable means of transportation
    • Must own a smartphone (stipend provided) with reliable internet / email access
    • Must be available to work full-time with some evenings and weekends
    • Engaging, outgoing, “in the know,” approachable and authentic personality
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sociology, Media Studies or a related industry
    • 3-5 years sales experience to include Alcohol Beverage, Hospitality, Culinary, On-Premise Accounts or Supplier / Wholesaler
    • Always up to date on global and local market events and trends
    • Excellent verbal / written communication skills
    • Conversational Spanish Preferable
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Highly self-motivated, results-driven and team-oriented
    • Strong internal and external customer orientation
    • Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines, Wholesaler Equity Agreement, and Estrella Jalisco standards and policies
    • Over the age of 21
