The Opportunity:

The Head of Production leads the work team to fulfill this growth. We’re looking for a passionate and hard-working person to make it happen. They will be responsible for the full business of the production facility from whiskey barrel management to bottle filling and shipping and receiving orders.

-        Strong (ability to lift 50 lbs and spend full days moving about the facility)

-        Enjoys getting your hands dirty and understanding the mechanics behind machinery

-        Knowledgeable about quality, productivity, and inventory processes

-        Has two or more years of distillery, winery, or food & beverage plant experience in planning, organizing, evaluating, and leading production.

-        Has forklift operator certification

Responsibilities include:

-        Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day facility operations

-        Creating and maintaining detailed records of liquid production and barrel program

-        Creating and maintaining detailed records of bottling runs and shipments

-        Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness in the production facility

-        Inspecting and maintaining the facility and equipment

-        Monitoring operations and triggering corrective actions while committing to facility quality and safety

-        Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping

-        Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards

-        Share a trusting relationship with work group and recruit, manage and develop plant staff

-        Collaborating with senior leadership to achieve company goals
