About the Company

Located in Seattle Washington, Skinny Dipped was founded by a mom and daughter and her two best friends after realizing that nothing is more important than time spent with the ones you love. Starting out of their Seattle kitchen, the four women created Skinny Dipped: thinly dipped chocolate almonds that are exceptionally good-for-you and ridiculously delicious. Position Description

Help increase availability, awareness and trial for Skinny Dipped Almonds. Create engaging, positive, educational and memorable experiences around the brand.

Position Responsibilities

  • Embrace and understand brand and category
  • 90% sales focus (up-selling accounts, merchandising, in-store product demos)
  • 10% marketing focus (sampling & influencer events)
  • Build and maintain relationships with territory sales counterparts including but not limited to brokers, distributors, store personnel, office staff and operations to maximize brand potential
  • Attend tradeshows, sales meetings, & execute “work-withs” with territory sales counterparts; including but not limited to brokers, distributors & merchandisers
  • Support Skinny Dipped Almonds in establishing a strong presence in both National & Regional accounts
  • Complete weekly sales and merchandising calls on all priority ‘A’ accounts as defined by the East &/or West Sales Director(s), with a focus on account development
  • Responsible for placement of shippers, spinner racks, soft POS and other merchandising items as directed in all regional priority ‘A’ accounts
  • Execute available deals at store level to maximize brand potential and eliminate out of stocks
  • Identify and communicate opportunities in influencer accounts/routes/priority ‘A’ accounts
  • Communicate successes, competition trends, deals, product introductions, potential accounts, resets and demo opportunities via weekly sales recaps
  • Communicate all information to East &/or West Sales Director(s), and at times Director of Field Marketing
  • Report to and communicate with East &/or West Sales Director(s)

Core Requirements

  • BS/BA & 2-4 years of sales experience in CPG industry
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs, load, set up, execute and tear down promotional items
  • Must have daily access to a computer with Microsoft® office, a printer, working internet connection, cell phone e/email & internet capabilities as well as camera, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel and/or do overnight trips into outside territories on an as needed basis; directed by the East &/or West Sales Director(s)
  • Provide timely reporting back to East &/or West Sales Director(s)

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Must have the ability to understand and communicate basic syndicated data
