This position focuses on Common Cider Company’s on and off-premise strategy on accounts within an assigned territory. Charged with increasing the availability and visibility of Common Cider Company brands, the Account Manager will grow volume, presence and influence in the marketplace. As a Common Cider Company brand expert, the Account Manager is the authority on product knowledge, brand positioning and programming in the growing craft hard cider market.


•Becoming the face of Common Cider Company at all accounts and functions.

•Introduction and growth of the Common Cider Company’s brand to new customers, and re-introduction to customers previously carrying Common Cider Company’s brands but no longer do.

•Maintain and develop relationships with key staff, management and owners in our existing accounts as well as new accounts.

•Work closely with distribution representatives on a weekly basis to achieve sales goals and search out new sales opportunities

•Be comfortable with Cold-Calling techniques in accounts in order to determine new opportunities for sale throughout the market

•Create organized plans quarterly to determine areas of focus and sales goals for that quarter

•Meet and exceed specific sales goals and key performance indicators while also maintaining existing accounts and present sales averages

•Conduct regular pre-shift training and educational opportunities with front of house staff and bartenders at key accounts to help increase velocity of Common Cider Company brands

•Execute events, festivals, and programs including, but not limited to: Designing and executing cider pairing dinners; Release parties and tap takeovers at on-premise accounts; Working key off-premises tastings at local retailers; Attending festivals and other featured events for Common Cider Company; Manage sampling events including Tastings, Festivals and Pint Nights

•Set-up and breakdown events including all event equipment and display materials, registration prior to, scheduling and maintenance

•Create effective and impactful marketing and promotional materials based on the Common Cider Company style guidelines

•Manage Brand Ambassador(s) including monthly scheduling for samplings and tasting events, providing details and materials for their events, recording and validating their daily sales

•Create promotions for our brand monthly and key on-premise accounts

•Work Closely with the brewers/production to create and evaluate sales forecasts and determine appropriate production amounts weekly



•Outgoing and positive attitudes are a must. Let’s not forget, this is a fun industry!

•Strong knowledge of the local craft hard cider industry, local restaurants and local consumers

•Sales experience

•Action oriented and self-starter

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills

•Cold calling skills a must

•Strong Organizational and administrative skills with basic understanding of Outlook, Word and Excel


•Must hold a clean and valid driver’s license

•Must be able to drive long distances regularly

•Lift 35 lb. Cases, 165 lb. kegs

•Must be able to work outside of regular business hours which on occasion may include nights and weekends
