The role begins by meeting customer service targets and quality goals. You will work with our team to connect with our customers and to make their experience a pleasant and productive, as well as manage the daily operations. You will also work with the team and staff to provide assistance through technical, process and knowledge support, communications, project management, coaching, forming individualized development plans, delivering performance feedback and implementing a variety of process and systems efficiencies that support the Care team and department. 

  • Strong ability to work independently and be self motivated and organizing and prioritizing duties
  • Knowledge of the inner workings of KeHE, UNFI and various other distribution and retail outlets
  • Knowledge and ability to comprehend how to navigate through various retailer and distributor portals for the purpose of new item set up, promotional implementation and securing data
  • The ability to generate and analyze sales data and regularly present analytics to sales team
  • Developing a rapport with all retailer and distribution partners and maintaining the ability to secure sales reports on a monthly basis
  • Effectively handle telephone sales calls to existing independent retailers as well as the administrative duties associated with processing and fulfilling orders
  • Maintain accurate records regarding distributor profiles, retail and on-premise distribution, and competitive activity and pricing
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Providing detailed knowledge of products and services
  • Providing quality customer service on every call
  • Minimum of 5 years working in the food and beverage / Consumer Packaged Goods industry in outside sales or insides sales support role
  • Understanding and navigation of CRM and project management applications
