We are a Dundee winery in search of a manager for our bottling line. We bottle 4 days per week typically and need someone to manage/run the line on bottling days and do general line maintenance on off days. Experience running a line required.  We have staff to support the line and help on bottling days.  We also use an agency to provide bottling day labor.

Essential duties will be operating all equipment – sanitation with steamer, orbit, filler/corker, capsuler, labeler, as well as maintenance, cleaning, etc. We work hard, we have fun, and we are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude to add to our team!

Key Duties:
•  General line setup and readiness of stations to start the bottling process
•  Executes line changeovers for different bottles, packaging, and liquid
•  Troubleshoots machinery to maintain desired performance to reduce downtime: jams, resetting equipment, removing glue/labels
•  Keeps machinery and stations clean and sterile to meet high standards of safety
•  Makes sure bottles are correctly filled and labeled
•  Supplies bottling line with packaging materials and labels
•  Moves packaged items and materials around the warehouse in conjunction with Warehouse Manager
•  Performs equipment maintenance and preventative tasks as assigned
•  Follows all SOPs and GMPs
•  May be required to perform general wine cellar duties during downtime

Must haves:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, bottling line experience in the wine industry is an asset
  • Forklift experience
  • Natural aptitude for navigating equipment systems/technology
  • Strong work ethic; willingness to get the job done
  • Highly detail orientated with a commitment to quality
  • Willingness to work extended shifts to accommodate bottling requirements
