The Key Account Manager will drive new chain authorizations, new distribution, incremental volume opportunities monthly, quarterly, and annually. You will fully develop, manage, support, and build all levels of chain relationships. You work closely with Buyers, HQ Personnel, Operations, Marketing, Distributors, Trade Development, Field Sales, and District Managers to manage business internally and externally.


Responsibilities
• Create game plan, timeline, budget, and deliverables for Marquis chain strategy
• Deliver approval of new items by regions, channels, and accounts
• Develop and execute promotional calendar across all stores in all Key Accounts
• Assist Sales Management and Trade Development of account specific presentations, plans, distribution, and merchandising execution
• Assign and achieve goals by account ensuring accurate sales forecasting activities
• Provide assessment of the results of plans by Channel, Key Account, and Distributor
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for Marquis Operations Team
• Perform sales and management activities to meet and exceed annual plan objectives
• Conduct Sales meetings as needed to effectively communicate objectives, programs, strategies, execution, policies, and procedures
• Analysis of data, retail execution vs. objectives during implementation of programs, and post analysis to ensure overall success
• Assess and Evaluate program progress and success regularly 
• Provide management specific information on retailers, sales, execution, market problems, and solutions regularly
• Create plans that will strengthen the sales and merchandising results for Marquis 
• Responsible for all Sales expenses and budgets, while achieving sales and revenue objectives


Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Finance, or related field 
• 5+ years of Key Account, National Account, or Regional Account Management
• Experience gaining Retail Chain Authorizations, hunting, planning, and executing with a sense of urgency
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to excellence
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Database Management
• Strong attention to detail
