About the New Business Development role:
Pride yourself on your sales pitch? Love being out in the field and meeting new customers? This role gives you the opportunity to gain experience in front line sales with one of the fastest growing craft breweries in Massachusetts. You will be responsible for prospecting and 'in the know' for new points of connection (bars, clubs, restaurants) openings in your territory and determine which to target and secure.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prospecting, building relationships and securing new business in on premise accounts.
Growing distribution, volume, profitability and brand experience within a portfolio of On Premise accounts for our draft line up.
Developing a deep knowledge base related to the brewing process, beer types and styles, handling, tasting, serving
Ownership of individual customer planning, promotional evaluation and customer sell-back.
Managing spend and budget management within assigned territory.
Working closely with distributor sales force to drive new accounts buying LHBCo draft.
Execution of call cycle and administrative duties (routine management) via KARMA.
Great communicator - you love being at the frontline of the business; out of the office meeting customers and consumers

Self-organized - you plan your own time effectively, have an eye for detail and work within agreed procedures
Analytical - you can analyze data to make informed decisions
Flexible - you live in the territory & you are flexible to travel to customers on a day to day basis
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent commercial experience
Hold a valid driving license
Experience in hospitality preferred
At a minimum, any candidate for New Business Development Rep must have the following qualifications:
1 year experience working beer events; 1 years customer service experience
Marketing experience or relevant education
Strong communicator able to inspire, engage and partner to build collaborative plans and programs
Time management skills; ability to work independently
Experience with marketing and sales integration
Efficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
General knowledge of events and promotions
Squeaky clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to lift, push and pull objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
Ability to carry up to 52 lbs. over the shoulder up to 200 feet (tent) and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets
Ability to tip, roll and control a full keg (162 lbs)
Show fine motor dexterity
Ability to demonstrate their ability to climb, stoop, crawl, twist, squat and reach overhead
The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking
Willingness to travel for events/festivals
Team player with a strong work ethic and self-starting attitude
