What You’ll Do:

  • You'll grow and help manage Zest Tea's RTD tea business in NYC

  • Grow store count

    • Identify, pitch, and close new retail locations

    • Manage and grow existing retail relationships to sell displays, place permanent point-of-sale, plan promotional activities, etc.

    • Participate in sales training with sales team and key distributors

    • Run distributor sales incentives and regularly route ride

    • Regularly meet with the market’s key distributors to review sales goals and evaluate performance against these goals

    • Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced sometimes pressured situations

    • Able to set and meet multiple and simultaneous deadlines

    • Extremely organized, dependable and self-motivated

  • Grow and manage velocity

    • Help plan and execute promotional strategy and spend to grow velocity

    • Build displays, merchandize, and maintain POS

    • Secure and keep placement in coolers and dry shelves

    • Schedule and occasionally help execute in-store, event, and guerrilla samplings, make sure there’s product on shelf

  • Work with the Zest Team

    • Work with operations, marketing, and others to improve internal processes

    • Participate in regular check-in meetings with the Zest Team

    • Report to Zest Tea HQ in Baltimore, MD 

What you may have already done:

  • Worked for 1+ years in the cpg beverage industry in nyc with a leading distributor, brand, or brokerage

  • Worked in account management and/or sales. Marketing experience is a plus

  • Built relationships / have relationships that can immediately impact our business

  • Preferably have a bachelor's degree

Other important things

  • Tech savvy, comfortable with Google suite and slack

  • Able to travel and work flexible hours when needed

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 75 lbs
