Title: Operations Manager

Yai’s Thai is seeking candidates for the position of Operations Manager. Yai’s Thai is a fast-growing natural food brand bringing bold Thai flavors to approachable, modern formats that add a bit of excitement to every meal.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the entirety of the supply chain from end to end, including forecasting, purchasing, production planning and co-packer management, raw and finished goods inventory management, order fulfillment, freight, and general logistics. You will be thrown into a fun, collaborative, and fast-paced environment with the opportunity to grow with our company as a core member of the team. The position will be based at our office in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning & Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses, co-packers, and distributors
    • Develop demand forecasts based on sales and inventory data
    • Implement and manage ERP system
    • Transmit forecast of cash expenditures to accounting department
  • Production & Procurement
    • Plan production schedule and coordinate production runs with contract manufacturers
    • Manage and forecast raw materials inventory levels
    • Purchase all ingredients and raw materials for production
    • Review invoices from suppliers and co-packers, and handle any discrepancies
    • Perform analysis on raw materials and suppliers to optimize margins
    • Serve as primary, day-to-day contact with co-packers, suppliers, distributors, freight brokers, and other operations-related personnel
    • Provide operations support for new product development, including establishing new relationships
  • Logistics Management
    • Confirm all incoming purchase orders, transmit to fulfillment warehouse, and coordinate timing of shipments to distributors and direct retail accounts
    • Coordinate all inbound and outbound freight
    • Perform analysis on freight expenses to optimize margins
    • Manage and resolve any discrepancies with inbound and outbound shipments including over, short, and damaged goods
  • Quality Assurance & Certification Compliance
    • Assist with customer service duties as they relate to quality issues
    • Maintain updated QA documentation for all raw materials, co-packing facilities, and warehouses
    • Manage new product certification processes and maintain compliance with all existing product certifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
  • 3+ years Supply Chain/Operations experience at a CPG company, strong preference given to applicants that have worked with packaged food
  • Experience with ERP systems and EDI integration, preferably in the implementation phase
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong data management skills
  • Must excel in multi-tasking competing priorities within a fast-paced organization
