The Go-To-Market Specialist will be responsible for managing the new product process for the commercialization of adult beverages in Deschutes Brewery's' product portfolio. This position will work collaboratively across departments to ensure product and customer focused strategic objectives are met. 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Organize the new product introduction process throughout the development phase and launch.

  • Work to align cross functional units across Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, to commercialize new products, ensuring effective speed to market.

  • Build project timelines and collaborate with the cross-functional teams on meeting the execution timing on key project activities. Keep projects on task and on time to desired go to market deadlines.

  • Organize product development consumer surveys, focus groups, and product tastings during product development and refinement phases.

  • Evaluate new product development progress against plan and recommend corrective action as needed.

  • Utilize established product management tools to collaborate with key cross-functional partners on development of volume forecasts on new products and key financial inputs.

  • Develop, report and track post-launch and in market performance compared to forecast.

  • Manage small to medium projects relating to product development.

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure the best ideas and insights are reflected in project plans, decisions and activities.

  • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects related to product development.

  • Ensures alignment is maintained with the organization's strategic goals and the project goals to ensure the desired systemic change can be realized.

  • Utilizes project management processes and tools to maintain documentation, timelines and communication as new product projects are planned to launch.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


What You Need for this Position:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or combined experience with PMP certification
  • 3 years of relevant experience required
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of CPG costing process
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience managing project budgets and timelines
  • Office 365 experience required

 And What's Nice to Have:

  • PMP Certificate preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience working in MS Project/ PlanView preferred
