We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as a Sales Representative- Central Region.


Purpose of Position

Responsible for calling on and building business within a designated group of accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities

Driving sales growth for Riverside:

  • Demonstrate and uphold Riverside’s core values, mission and vision
  • Establish trust and confidence with prospective customers, building advocacy, networking within an organization
  • Build relationships within multiple levels of the customer organization
  • Develop and drive strategic plans to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Monitor competitive and market activity 
  • Compile and review quantitative sales data and react rapidly to changing trends or new competitive threats and opportunities
  • Execute corporate presentations
  • Present products and programs
  • Offer solution based selling approach
  • Discover medium and long term opportunities
  • Work closely with broker and distributor partners
  • Develop and implement pricing strategy
  • Plan promotional schedules
  • Collaborate marketing programs
  • Effectively manage trade spend
  • Communicate account activity/results via internal processes
  • Educate distributors, brokers and any sales agents of the company
  • Attend designated trade shows and events
  • Conduct business reviews with top accounts
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Travel may require 50% +
  • Manage both key accounts and independent accounts across various channels
  • Prioritize and schedule store visits
  • Manage turnover business through distribution
  • Manage custom regional distributor programs
  • Manage all accounts, with limited exceptions, within assigned geography

Education & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the organic / health food industry
