Summary

Cerebral Brewing is looking for a Sales Manager that is a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for great beer. The Sales Manager is responsible for promoting sales, the Cerebral brand and achieving target volume goals. This position does not have a regular set schedule and will include nights and weekends. You will be required to adapt your schedule to meet the needs of the position.

Responsibilities
  • Align with leadership on sales strategy & execution

  • Network with industry buyers and build relationships with key employees at accounts to maintain and grow account relationships

  • Create and schedule events within account base to help grow both the brand and sales. Seek out additional event opportunities (festivals, tasting events, beer dinners, etc.) and execute all promotional events, tastings and special events that may occur on weekday evenings as well as weekends

  • Partner with the Marketing Manager to promote off-site events

  • Elicit feedback from the market on what things could help move the brand further towards its goals

  • Conduct ongoing brand training with retailers and consumers

  • Perform administrative tasks (keg tracking, AR payment collection and check deposits, expense reports, maintain monthly work calendar, etc.)

  • Input all data into the CRM (sales, keg tracking, inventory transfers, etc)

  • Assist at all in-house events and festivals as needed

  • Effectively utilize resources available to improve efficiency and drive sales (making use of company van, work with Sales Assistant to delegate & schedule deliveries, etc)

Qualifications
  • Independent self-starter / highly self-motivated

  • Must be able to represent Cerebral Brewing in a professional and responsible manner

  • Key traits: Excellent communication skills, organized and detail oriented

  • Connections at Denver area bars and restaurants are a plus

  • Education/Experience: BS/BA in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field or 4+ years experience in outside sales.

  • License or Certification - valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Flexible schedule: available to work evenings/nights as needed

  • Strong knowledge of craft beer, the industry, and its retail customers

  • Position requires computer proficiency – proficient in Microsoft office suite, Google suite, mobile apps and CRM

  • Excellent oral, analytical, written, and communication skills
