We are looking for someone to lead a team of passionate go-getters to reach ambitious sales goals. We are currently completely self-distributed with accounts from WNC to Raleigh. As the company grows, we will begin working with third-party wholesalers to increase sales in other markets. This position may be based in Asheville, Raleigh, or Charlotte.
Sales Manager Job Description:
Aggressively pursue, close, and activate new opportunities for sales distribution
Lead company towards the creation and execution of monthly and quarterly sales objectives
Work with management to recruit, select, and direct sales staff in meeting or exceeding company sales goals
Facilitate brand development and awareness within the marketplace
Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all customers (E-595Es, ABC permits)
Maintain accurate records of keg deposits/credits
Prepare monthly commission reports for each sales rep
Coordinate changing sales demands with production manager
5+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry
Must be a self-starter committed to excellence with an ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills
Outgoing personality, strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Confident in leading a team and setting an example of expectations
Reliable transportation, willingness to travel
This is a full-time position, with salary, commission, and bonus based on experience. This position is eligible for benefits after three months employment.
