  • Account Selection: Provide input into their manager in regard to the selection of target outlets for their respective market area
  • Market Planning: Develop tactical plans for target accounts for the execution of key brand initiatives within assigned market area. This will include distribution growth, visibility and brand quality initiatives, and promotional/activation plans
  • Utilize available data and reporting to identify market opportunities, evaluate progress against targets and effectively manage budgets and other resources
  •  Support General Sales Manager as needed with any ad hoc planning requests


  • Sell-in: Utilize Asahi selling tools and brand stories to sell-in distribution, visibility and activity in support of Asahi USA Brands and Programs in targeted off and on premise outlets
  • Education: Leverage distributor sales meetings and 1:1 interactions to educate distributor sales teams on Asahi Brands, activation programs and selling tools. Educate outlets (primarily on-premise) in regard to Asahi quality standards that ensure product freshness and optimal consumers experience and enjoyment of our products
  • Take ownership of execution and achievement of all KPI’s and targets within assigned market area and target accounts. Focus execution areas are as follows: Availability, Affordability/Price, Visibility, and Quality 
  • Identify incremental opportunities for growth within your market area and partner with your General Sales Manager to develop plans and identify resources to exploit these opportunities
  • Plan, coordinate and execute local market activations for off premise, on premise and special events


    • Minimum of 2+ years relevant selling experience, industry and local market experience and relationships are strongly preferred
    • Experience in and around hospitality industry, beverage sales and/or distributor strongly preferred
    • Ability and desire to communicate and collaborate with customers, 3rd party agencies and distributor management and sales teams – serve as an ambassador of Asahi USA and our Brands
    • Basic Business Math proficiency
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Interest in Japanese culture/food, as well as, beer styles and trends in the USA and abroad
    • Must have a valid driver’s license
    • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs as frequent lifting and handling of Asahi products are required
    • Must be flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends as market needs require


    • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred


    • English proficiency is essential

    TRAVEL:  Limited - Some travel within regional market area will be required and limited travel for company meetings.
