Little Beast Brewing is family-run brewery with a pub based in Portland, Oregon and our small production facility in Clackamas, Oregon. We specialize in wild, wood-aged, and mixed-culture farmhouse ales. We are looking to add a Marketing Specialist to our team; someone who is eager to be involved in the beer industry and can help us execute our marketing plans.
This position’s role includes managing and growing our 100+ member exclusive bottle club; organizing events at our pub; keeping our social media accounts and communications active; assist in executing the brand plan; aid in internal communications between the pub and brewery. This role will be managed by co-owner Brenda Crow, with some supervision from a marketing consultant.
Guardians Of Funk Bottle Club Management
Organizing and running membership events
GOF website updates
Scheduling beer pick ups
Marketing to increase membership numbers
Keep in-pub promotions up to date
Build marketing campaigns and event programs for pub to keep people informed and to keep them coming back
Organize special, larger-scale events at pub quarterly
Assist in Executing the Brand Plan
Project managing the brand pipeline so that all departments hit their execution deadlines
Includes following go-to market plans for bringing new beers to life
Regular communication with the pub on upcoming projects
Marketing the brands before and after launch
Publishing regular email newsletters and growing our email list
Execute and help build a social media strategy under supervision from our team members
Generate, edit, and publish regular content that builds meaningful connections with our audiences
Engage with our followers so they feel a stronger connection to our brand
Continuously improve by capturing and reviewing insights, engagement and data
Ordering merch and assist in new merch development
Tracking and reporting inventory
New product setup on website
Designing and keeping In-Pub Signage up to date
Build a blog, create content, and post regularly based on overall marketing goals
Improve SEO of website
Package and ship media packages
Prepare monthly reports on Marketing’s contributions to Little Beast
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
A love of farmhouse beers and a desire to learn more about the industry
Good organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of large and small projects simultaneously
A working knowledge of Design Principles and design software including: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, photography, and video creation
Solid written and oral communications skills
Demonstrated understanding of reputation management
Ability to use Wordpress and Squarespace and improve SEO
Social Media marketing experience
Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 55 lbs. and occasionally up to 165 lbs.
Able to stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairs.
Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise, sometimes slippery floors
Ability to tolerate a high-level work pace that is typical for a production Brewery
Able to stand for prolonged periods of time and to work 8-10 on your feet
$38,000 - $42,000 Depending on experience
