Local Roots Kombucha is seeking an ambitious and creative Field Marketing Manager to further expand its top-of-mind awareness, lead it's Brand Ambassador program, and curate on-brand experiences.

Responsibilities include managing all aspects of field marketing from event presence to Brand Ambassador cultivation. A triumphant FMM will be unmatched in their ability to bring the LRK brand to life by creating authentic, intentional experiences for consumers, retailers, and distribution partners. 

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a solid foundation in grassroots marketing, can collaborate well with team members, has a vast social network, and has knowledge of the beverage industry. With patterns of success, position has great potential for vertical mobility within our organization.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Hire and manage the day-to-day of a team of Brand Ambassadors
  • Assign "missions" for Brand Ambassadors while they are not attending tasting events.
  • Work with Field Sales Team to schedule and manage day and night time samplings
  • Identify, develop, manage, and support channel-based marketing initiatives including events, partnerships, and other marketing opportunities to bring the Local Roots Kombucha brand to life.
  • Drive development and growth of the Local Roots Kombucha brand through participation in localized retail, food, sport, and music event sampling programs.

  • Drive attendance to taproom-hosted events

  • Demonstrate budget management, track local expenditures to ensure P&L compliance on an ongoing basis and allocate funding as needed to meet marketing budget and sales goals.

  • Capture on-brand photo and video content on a regular basis.

  • Share posts and stories at events either from personal account or newly created Instagram account.

  • Cultivate relationships and maintain regular communication/interactions with Friends of Local Roots Program and Micro-Influencers.

  • Additional duties as assigned

Key Traits, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Must be 21+

  • 2-4 years’ beverage industry/natural food/ spirits industry field marketing.

  • Strong Leadership Skills

  • Ability to build out micro-influencer field program
  • Entrepreneurial, humble, passionate and determined. Energy and enthusiasm are critical.

  • Personal passion for health and wellness

  • Social Media Marketing

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office or G Suite

  • Email correspondence

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business environment and can work well with or without supervision.

  • Ability to cultivate authentic relationships.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle

  • Experience with Project Management Software (Asana, Basecamp, Jira, Monday)

  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs. as this position will require event support & set-up.
