Are you looking for a sales opportunity in a fast-paced environment? Are you interested in hunting for companies that you can help increase employee engagement, through our office coffee, snack, breakroom and catering services? As a NJ Account Executive, you will be responsible for seeking out new business opportunities, interfacing with mid-senior level decision-makers, and communicating the Corporate Essentials value proposition in a consultative manner. The candidate should have a hunter mentality, must be extremely professional, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work independently on multiple projects at the same time. This territory will include Central and Northern New Jersey. Three weeks of training will be provided.
Research and qualify prospects in Central and Northern New Jersey
Conducting phone calls for lead generation and with potential leads
Hunt for new business opportunities within the territory
Manage full sales cycle; from prospecting outreach to close
Presenting the Corporate Essentials value proposition to high-level decision-makers via in-person meetings and/or online demonstrations
Establishing and maintaining close relationships with clients and their decision-makers
Communicate details of client needs to Operations team
Attend networking events for lead cultivation and new client opportunities
Additional projects as assigned by the manager
Above all else, the ideal candidate will have a winning attitude with a willingness to learn and a drive to succeed
Exceptional follow up, and closing skills essential
1 -3 years preferred of successful previous experience as a sales representative consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Business-to-business (B2B) experience is preferred
Experience with CRM applications both from a user perspective.
Must be focused and organized and have excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work across departments to achieve an end goal.
Committed to continued education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and knowledge of a variety of industries
Ability to meet at Corporate Office (Parsippany, NJ) as requested by the manager for meetings and development
Expected to work out of the central and northern NJ territory
Must have reliable transportation
Daily travel to clients and prospects
Experience in creating spreadsheets, powerpoint, and other shared documents for internal and external use
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Compensation: $40,000 base salary plus a competitive commission structure. In addition, your tolls, parking, and mileage are taken care of!
