North Jersey Sales Representative
Double Nickel is a fast growing, award-winning South Jersey based production brewery creating traditional and emerging style beers, drawing inspiration from the past but utilizing our own modern techniques.
What we are looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic sales professional to join the DNBC team and drive our success in North East NJ.
Only applicants who reside or are willing to reside in North Jersey will be considered.

The Double Nickel Brewing Co. North Jersey Sales Rep will cover all on and off premise sales and events throughout our self distributed territory of Essex, Hudson, and Bergen counties in Northern New Jersey. In this role you will maintain sales relationships within existing accounts as well as establishing and opening new accounts within the region in order to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Identify, establish, and maintain a close working relationship with existing and new retail accounts
Execute sales calls to on/off premise accounts up to 40+ accounts per week
Develop and maintain relationships with key on-premise retailers
Coordinate and execute weekly events and tastings
Clearly and succinctly report to the Double Nickel management team weekly
Embrace and communicate Double Nickel’s company culture
Build a foundation to streamline product placement in accounts
Represent Double Nickel at festivals and events
Organize and consolidate weekly orders from email, voicemail, and text messages from accounts to self-distribution team.
Must have 2+ years of beverage sales experience in North Jersey, craft beer preferred
Candidates must have a passion and excitement for the craft beer industry and have a desire be a part of a fast-paced, growing company
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, retailers, and management
Work with all employees of DNBC in an ego-free manner that is collaborative and respectful
Must be able to identify opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and VIP including iDIG
Passion for interacting and meeting people
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing situations
Dependable vehicle with valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurance.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is based on experience. Benefits include health insurance reimbursement, 401K, PTO, merchandise and beer.
