Job Summary

The Sales Analytics Coordinator will support the Sales Analytics Manager in the management of promotional (deductions) spend and spend analytics ensuring Reed’s in only paying for agreed programs. Reporting to the Sales Analytics Manager, this role is vital to ensuring deductions by distributors and billbacks from retailers are in line with the sales promotional plans.  The ideal candidate will have promotional management experience in the consumer product industry, can compile, organize and manage large amounts of data.  Candidate must also be comfortable contacting distributor/retails to resolve discrepancies. This role will also be involved in cross-functional teams to problem solve and identify ways to increase sales.

Responsibilities will include, but limited to:

  • Set up and track promotional programs by retailer capturing price promotions, manufacturer charge backs, shipment penalties, advertising spend adjusting programs as necessary
  • Develop and generate monthly reporting providing visibility into program performance vs plan for top 25 Customers, including non-promotional deductions
  • Own the process of new item set up with customers from data gathering to submission
  • Complete all necessary steps to submit promotions to customers
  • Quantifying deduction discrepancies and pursuing reimbursement from distributor/retail partners
  • Provide non promotional deduction spend with appropriate support to finance to ensure proper P&L geography reporting
  • Support the Sales Analytics Manager and Sales Team on any special projects as needed

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, statistics, business or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years progressive business experience with CPG, beverage and analytical experience required
  • Excels in setting where attention to detail is critical to success
  • Candidate must have strong problem-solving skills and an ability to adapt to inconsistent reporting formats from our business partners
  • Prior experience in positions requiring strong analytical acumen
  • Deep understanding of database management and reporting
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus
