Local Roots Kombucha is seeking an ambitious and creative Marketing Coordinator to further expand top-of-mind awareness, expand its digital presence, and support retail sales growth. 

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a solid foundation in the best practices of digital marketing, can collaborate well with team members/vendors, and has knowledge of the beverage industry. With patterns of success, position has great potential for vertical mobility within our organization.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Support channel-based marketing initiatives including events, partnerships, and other marketing opportunities.

  • Ownership of all consumer correspondence - while monitoring for critical product reviews to identify the appropriate resource to rectify each issue.

  • Develop and maintain social media content scheduling scheduling to address all upcoming news and hit monthly targets..

  • Support Taproom Manager with the coordination of marketing tools and graphic content.

  • Optimize digital advertising campaigns

  • Execution of newsletter calendar along with the maintenance of its database

  • Support the programming of press releases

  • Address opportunities for the continued development of

  • Execute and drive attendance to taproom-hosted events.

  • Procurement/fulfillment of marketing materials such as Point of Sale, promo items, apparel, event supplies, etc. 

  • Coordinate with content creators/graphic designers/copywriters to produce on-brand digital/print content.

  • Capture on-brand photo and video content on a regular basis.

  • Cultivate relationships and maintain regular communication/interactions with Friends of Local Roots Program.

  • Monitor regional trends to develop targeted promotional strategies

  • Additional duties as assigned

Key Traits, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Must be 21+

  • 1-3 years marketing role experience.

  • Entrepreneurial, humble, passionate and determined. Energy and enthusiasm are critical.

  • Personal passion for health and wellness

  • Social Media Marketing (paid and organic)

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office or G Suite

  • Email correspondence

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business environment and can work well with or without supervision..

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle

  • Experience with Project Management Software (Asana, Basecamp, Jira, Monday)
