Common Cider Company has exciting opportunities for highly motivated sales representatives in SoCal and the Bay Area. The Market Development Managers (MDM) for SoCal and the Bay Area will manage both on and off premise sales for Common Cider Company (CCC). The SoCal position will cover 4 distributors across Kern, San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties. The Bay Area position will cover 3-4 distributors from Sonoma county in the North to Monterrey county in the South. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, these individuals will be responsible for working closely with distributors to maximize distribution and sales within the territory. To be considered you should have prior experience working with distributors, at least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the alcohol industry.



  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with account staff and distributor sales teams
  • Drive execution of sales strategies, including communication of goals to distributor teams
  • Educate and excite distributors sales teams and retail accounts to maximize sales of our brands
  • Manage distributor inventory to appropriate levels, ensuring no out of stocks
  • Represent CCC at on/off premise events and festivals
  • Drive brand awareness within your assigned territory
  • Accurately track, audit and communicate pricing, promotions, and display execution as needed
  • Complete necessary administrative reporting and communications on a timely basis
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed, including some travel for meetings or events

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • 3 years of sales experience with a prior history of success
    • Strong knowledge of the local craft beer and cider industry
    • Passion and commitment to building a brand with an entrepreneurial spirit
    • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
    • Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft office with strong analytical skills
    • A squeaky-clean driving record and valid driver’s license
    • Ability to lift and move up to 165lbs as needed
