Job Description

The Marketing Director will work closely with the Vice President of Marketing to develop and execute integrated brand strategies and marketing plans to grow brand awareness and drive trial. This role requires the ability to think strategically while still executing on the ground level. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is able to build on their own experiences and proven methods to develop best-in-class marketing programs. Our ideal candidate will also be collaborative, with a drive for action and results, and able to create structure from ambiguity.

 

Job Responsibilities 

 

  • Assist in the onboarding of brand agencies, develop performance expectations, and act as the key point person for agency partners
  • Assist in the development of annual, long and short-term marketing strategy and plans
  • Develop marketing programs to grow brand awareness including, but not limited to:
    • Experiential marketing
    • Out of home marketing
    • Paid media
  • Develop strategies to further our category and consumer insights/understandings
  • Continue to build brand equity to hit key marketing metrics around trial, awareness and penetration
  • Work with sales team to develop and execute profitable trade sales and marketing programs
  • Accurately and regularly assess competitive environment, consumer trends and brand performance, through ongoing analyses
  • Manage and attend trade shows to champion the brand and cultivate new opportunities
  • Lead in qualitative and quantitative research and make recommendations to management team
  • Ensure brand messaging is consistent across all marketing activations
  • Act as a leader and role model for the organization

      You have…
      • At least 7 years of CPG marketing experience
      • Excellent analytical skills and experience leading consumer insights
      • Copywriting and copy-editing skills
      • Excellent attention to detail
      • Proven experience in prioritizing and handling multiple projects at the same time
      • Experience managing a variety of media platforms and tailoring communications for these channels
      • Experience working at a top CPG, particularly food, is a plus Compensation and Benefits
