ABOUT FREELAND SPIRITS

The successful candidate is highly talented and skilled at maintaining, developing and fostering account level relationships. They are growth-minded, results-driven, and excited to organize themselves around field sales and marketing activities that continue to expose the brand to new sales opportunities. The Oregon Sales Manager will work with our CEO and marketing director to plan, execute and measure results from on-premise initiatives throughout the state of Oregon. The position involves regular evening and weekend work and will require regular travel throughout the state.
Collaborate with leadership on monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans
Develop strategy to prioritize key markets (cities), locations, etc.
Conduct product tastings and attend promotional events weekly
Visit 10 accounts daily
Support and communicate regularly with existing accounts
Develop and maintain competitive information for regional marketplace
Drive sales and brand awareness
Provide bi-weekly reports on contacts and leads
Track and monitor success of our products in all identified accounts within assigned territory
Provide marketing materials, like shelf talkers to off-premise accounts
Educate off-premise personnel regarding products and pricing
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Passionate and knowledgeable about craft spirits industry, with a preference for the Freeland Spirits obsessed.
3+ years of commercial experience in the alcohol beverage industry.
Strong sense of urgency, commitment and experience achieving commercial results.
Experience working in a competitive, team first environment.
Self-driven, organized, and flexible to grow and learn new systems and processes.
History of developing, maintaining and motivating account relationships.
Excellent organization and communication skills -- e.g. managing and executing sales contacts, selling tools, activities and planning.
Must be flexible with working hours -- nights and weekends are regular.
Must have a valid driver’s license, free of any major violation in the last twenty-four months, registered and insured vehicle, and have or be capable of getting an OR servers license.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This is a salaried position that will pay a competitive salary with a performance-based bonus structure. Other benefits include health care plan and paid vacation.
