We are seeking an Off Premise Sales Representative for Scout Distribution in Orange County, CA. 

Scout Distribution is an independently owned craft alcohol wholesaler. Scout has been created to reshape and disrupt the everyday understanding of a craft beverage distributor. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual who is ready to roll up their sleeves and sell some beer as part of our tight knit team!

Daily Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties pertaining to running an established off premise route with a focus on growing account base.
  • Increase overall portfolio distribution in the routed area
  • Identify and develop new accounts and maintain outstanding rapport in current accounts
  • Communication with retail accounts regarding products, pricing, inventory, events, etc.
  • Work with supplier partners on a weekly basis, plan/attend promos/staff trainings, land new package placements.
  • Work closely with distributor manager and suppliers to achieve goals 
  • Utilize sales database to review account purchase history and identify non-buys
  • Quick problem solving, intuitive thinking and communication are key attributes. 
  • Execute roles and responsibilities within allocated budget 
  • Complete all administrative tasks within outlined deadlines 
  • Ensure compliance of all alcoholic beverage regulations 

Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years’ experience in outside sales role 
  • Beverage experience preferred 
  • Must live in Orange County, Ca  
  • Must be willing to travel within assigned region 
  • Must have access to reliable transportation 
  • Must be able to lift and move cases of product frequently 
  • Must be able to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale 
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, as needed
