The California Cider Company is the fastest growing cider company in the USA and is distributed in 49 states. It remains family owned and operated after 27 years, as the longest running independent cidery in the US, with 2nd generation cidermakers running the business. The Sales Director will work closely with, and report to, the Sales VP on developing comprehensive sales plans on a local, regional, and divisional level for Ace Cider. The Sales Director will be responsible for leading our Eastern sales team and continuing our growth in the Eastern Division. The Sales Director will have Key Account and Field Sales Management responsibilities and will be expected to lead by example in the field regularly.


Requirements:Pre-Requisite Requirements

•   Bachelor's Degree at 4 year Educational Institution

•   Passion and commitment to building a brand with entrepreneurial spirit

•   Team driven, internal drive, a self starter, passionate, high energy, resourceful, responsible, flexible, and strong organization skills

•   10+ years field sales experience in beer/cider & 5+ years management sales experience in beer/cider

•   Ability to work in a mobile environment and navigate assigned territory

•   Excellent communication skills

•   Talent for analyzing data and presenting information with a purpose

•   A Master in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and ability to learn proprietary software applications

•   Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

•   Clean driving record required (No DUIs)


Core Responsibilities

•   Key Account Management - Responsible for leading our KAM teams in the South Central, South East, Mid-Atlantic, and North East Regions

•   Organizing and participating in team crew drives, responsible for top line and bottom line

•   Regular visits to maintain retailer relationships

•   Regular visits to maintain wholesaler relationships

•   Communicate daily w/ VP Sales regarding orders, trends, successes, and challenges

•   Responsible for wholesaler ordering, inventories, and depletions

•   Analyze sales data / performance weekly

•   Responsible for weekly team expense reports

•   Must have an understanding of all channels of the beer/cider business and have relationship with key chain buyers

•   Expected to work occasional evening and weekend events

•   Responsible to lead team by example and spend time in the field every week

•   Review and participate in quarterly sales presentations with distributor management for 70+ wholesalers
