Loon Juice and Four Daughters is not just one of Minnesota’s largest producers of alcoholic beverages, but also it’s most diverse. We produce hard cider, sangria, wine, and bourbon. The Packaging Plant Manager is one of the most integral positions in our organization. The primary responsibility of the Packaging Plant Manager is to operate and maintain our equipment. The Packaging Plant Manager ensures all our cans, bottles, cases, 6 packs, variety packs, and kegs are filled appropriately. A background in engineering, electronics, or mechanical systems is required for this position. These machines break, and it is your job to fix them. Our largest and most used piece of equipment is a 200 CPM Palmer 24 filler and 4 seamer line, manufactured in 2016. Other pieces of equipment include a depalletizer, Econocorp cartoner and tray former, Filtech level detector, Lanxess Velcorin doser, Della Toffola ceramic crossflow filter, GAI bottling line, and others. Experience on these machines is preferred but not required.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Receiving orders from distributors
  • Scheduling packaging runs to fill those orders
  • Scheduling labor as needed
  • Ordering and maintaining inventory levels of needed materials
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Invoicing distributors
  • Performing quality control checks on all packages
  • Learning and operating a CMC Kuhnke seam scanner
  • Maintaining a clean and sterile work area
  • Organizing the warehouse
  • Cleaning tanks
  • Washing kegs
  • General troubleshooting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year, depending on experience
